Check out TQPM Small Kennel Quilts. They always have shelters asking for small kennel quilts. I have made maybe 20 and when I can will do more. http://www.kennelquilts.com/

I have found one shelter that wants quilts and will send them home with the dogs. We had a dog shipped and she was very attached to that blanket because it smelled like home or at least a safe place.
Does anyone else know of shelters that will send the quilts home with the dogs?
I do not mind mailing the quilts.
I too have had them not taken by shelters because of the batting. And a lot of the shelters just want purchased beds.

I agree with asking the shelters. I used to take dog beds into a shelter and was told point blank they didnt' want what I was donating.
