pfaff 2140 owners
I have been looking into ruler work. I haven't been able to find a ruler foot that is a pfaff foot . If anyone has bought a ruler foot for your 2140 could you let me know what you got. Also is the 2140 a low shank or a high shank? Thank you for any help you can give me.

Here is a link to determine which shank your machine has https://madamsew.com/blogs/sewing-bl...s-presser-feet
From what I have seen it is a low shank, 9mm stitch width, with IDT and the Pfaff Code Letter G for your model. According to one of the links for the ruler foot, is for the Icon machines, which look like they are also low shank, 9mm stitch width, with IDT;
Unfortunately, there is no additional information showing the Pfaff ruler foot at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77jxbfybpHQ
The part number is 821164096 and there is a generic one in the following links.

You may want to order a Westalee foot for your machine, directly from Sew Steady. Here's a link: https://www.sewsteady.com/product/domestic-ruler-foot/ You put your sewing machine model in the blank and they will make sure you get the right foot.
I have a Westalee foot on my little Bernina, and I love using the rulers for quilting!

Quiltedsunshine gave you good advice. The SewSteady website will be able to help you order the correct foot for your Pfaff. I also have a Pfaff although a different version and I use the foot from Westalee and their beginner set of rulers. I am not sure that Pfaff makes an actual ruler foot.
