I forgot to say you can get feathers and all sorts of quilting designs online. It is fun plus if you can line up the hoop right you can do some neat borders.

Thanks for all your replies. Now all I have to do is convince the DH how much I NEED this machine. I'm afraid that is not going to happen this year -- we need new mattresses very badly not to mention we are in the middle of remodeling the kitchen. It doesn't hurt to dream, though!!

I just bought(today) a Creative Vision machine. The hoops are much thinner than my Bernina 830. Are they strong enough to adequately hold the bulk of a quilt? I usually "Warm & white" batting which is thin enough to machine quilt. This machine is quite different from Bernina's 830. Now I have both.

I have a hoop that has an insert for light material and an insert for heavy material. I think it is 130x130. It can hold your quilt. You would need to but it extra.
