    Default Photo Fabric Paper

I have been reading about all of the different photo fabric paper and have not read anything that has helped me choose the brand to purchase. My sister and me will be making a memory quilt for our mother and need some suggestions on the brand of fabric paper to use for the quilt.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This one was mentioned in a previous thread and seems to get good reviews on Amazon:

There are two other versions (one is silk) on Amazon, so you can read about those as well.

A photo quilt is on my to-do list, but I haven't actually done it yet.

Oops. I think this one may have better reviews:

would love to hear about this also. went to Ireland last fall and want to do a wall hanging with some of the photos. I just purchased "Colorfast" fabric sheets from Hancock Fabrics. Another brand Treasured Memories was available at twice the price. Did a bit of research online but couldn't really find a comparison so don't know if the price difference is truly worth it or is it just paying for a fancy brand name? only want to do this once, so would love to know experiences of others.

Another option is to upload them on your computer and send to Spoonflower.com. They print the fabric with pictures and they come back great. Not expensive, either...a fat quarter filled with pics is only $9.95 and they get it to you in about 15 days. I just did it and mine came out great!

I've used Printed Treasures quite a bit and like them. I usually only buy them when I have a 50% off coupon at JoAnn's, or they put all of their quilting notions on sale for 50% off.

No matter which brand you decide to use, be sure you can live with the laundering instructions. The one posted earlier from Amazon must be hand-washed or dry cleaned. I have no desire to hand wash a quilt, nor do I want the expense of dry-cleaning it either.
