the viewers choice was the red and white one with all the pieces...It was BEAUTIFUL! what was it 4,669 pieces or something insane like that?! LoL! Brave Woman is all I can say. =) The Best in Show was yellow ~wholecloth it looked to me~ and called indian sun or something like that and quilted over every space available..except for some puffy spaces. It looked like there was a hairs breath between quilting spaces. I was surprised and a bit disappointed. It was lovely ~ don't get me wrong ~ but not what I would have imagined winning a Quilt Show. Just my opinion. I chose not to take pictures this year.

The quilt you are standing in front of was made by a friend, and a member of the Central Oklahoma Quilters Guild. She also one a prize last year, and had had quilts in Houston and I think Paducah. Isn't her work wonderful?
I loved the red and white one too.

Thankyou so much for sharing these wonderful quilts, I do not often get to see first hand this kind of workman ship so it is a real delight, I love the WWII aeroplane quilt, thanks again.
