Pictures of Fall Leaves
#1
Hi Quilters:
A couple weeks ago I was reading the forum and someone asked for pictures of fall leaves that she could use for a quilt. I think she said she lived in Southern CA and the leaves go from green to brown with no pretty orange or yellow colors. I've been so busy with a sick mom the last few weeks that I kinda let everything slide and now I don't know who wanted the leaf pictures. Whoever wanted them, let me know and I'll post them.

If you had her address you could mail leaves to her. We are a homeschooling family and years ago a group of us online mailed nature items to each other. We live in the deep south and rarely have fall color, so we asked for fall leaves. We got tons and they were wonderful! Not only great colors, but trees we don't even have here.
We sent "fresh" cotton to folks in other parts of the US with the seeds and such in it.
It was a neat exchange.

Hi Quilty Friends:
Thanks for the info on getting pictures to Celeste. I sent them this morning early. Have more but will wait awhile as it looks like she's getting plenty of great pictures.
My mom isn't fine but is doing better. Heart attack caused her to fall at home and cracked her head open then she fell out of bed in ICU and broke rib, elbow, wrist and lost a bunch of skin on her shoulder, back and bottom. More heart problems, internal bleeding, etc. but NO STROKE so we feel blessed. Thanks for your good thoughts and wishes.
