This subject has probably been discussed previously and more information is needed. Wouldn't it be great to post the pattern name and where the pattern was found with any pictures that are posted. I am guilty of not giving this info and lots of requests for it led me to this idea, which I will do from this point forward. Thanks for listening!
    peace :D

There are quilters who always post the name of the pattern along with their pictures. I am one of them.

However, I have found that there are many board members who don't read the information the poster wrote along with the photo. They only look at the photo. Then you will see 16 pages of people giving feedback and asking for the name of the pattern, even if the answer is given multiple times.

My thought process is that if a quilt is that compelling to look at, why not read what the maker wrote about it?

I try to include the name but sometimes I don't have that info available. I mostly design my own or use ones that I downloaded for free from the internet and so therefore no longer have the source info.

I do save lots of the photos posted on here to use as inspiration for my own pieces.
