I have started using my bags of batting strips for smaller projects. Spray baste to backing butting up next to each other, or overlapping by 1/8" to 1/4". Sems to be working. I try to quilt in opposite direction to hold together. Got to use up some of my batting scraps. I need the room.

If the quilt police come after me for over lapping, please visit me in jail. Bring a quilt!

Lay two pieces of batting together, overlaping the edges on top of the other. Rotary cut through both layers and then the edges will be the same. Then butt them together and zigzag them together. I piece batting all the time--given the price of it! LOL
