Hi guys, Happy Sunday.
Took amachine quilting class today with Paula Reed and she was saying that the way she practiced her quilting all 1400 of them was by doing charity quilts thru her quild. She started taking 4 or 5 returned them and took more until she got the quilting down. Now she is a renown teacher, I know that the gal in charge of the charity group in our guild said that people will donate tops but not quilted ones, so I guess that I know where I will get some practice done, That is in between starting to wrap my fabrics on boards and reorganizing my sewing room.

Definitely like the piecing more than finishing. I absolutely hate taping the backing to the floor and pinning but once I get past that, I'm happier. For some strange reason, I like doing the binding...maybe because by that time, I'm almost done!

I'm so glad you all do that. I thought it was just me as a newbie doing that.
