    Iron on pellon works great. I've used it and had no problems.

    I wouldn't try to piece polyester batting. but with cotton, I over lap the edges and cut clean with the rotary cutter. Then butt the newly cut edges and iron on very lightweight fusible Pellon on BOTH sides. You will NEVER be able to feel where the batting has been pieced.
