I'm a newbie and have a question about sewing my panels together. I am making a quilt using a layer cake and jelly roll.
I made all of my blocks and squared them all up and then sewed them together for my panels. Now my question is, when I sew the panels together, they are a little off on the sides and the bottom. Do I square each panel up after attaching them to the main quilt or just let it go and square the whole quilt up when I am finished sewing all panels together? There are so many experts on this board that I know someone can answer my question.

    Thanks

i square up as i go, but if you keep one side even as you go so you only have one side to trim at the end that would probably work out ok too as long as they are not far off,(less than 1/2" between the longest and shortes) if you are more 'off' than that i would definitly square up before putting it together

Each step of quilting, I square up as I go. I would match up your seam lines and sew the panels together and then square them up before you go any further
