    Default Pigeon Forge Quilt Show

Is anyone going to the quilt show this week in Pigeon Forge, TN? 3 friends and I are driving down tomorrow and hope to attend the show on Wednesday. We're going to do a little sightseeing too while we're there.

What fun! I'm anxious to go to a show. None around me so far this year. A little far away right now. There were some quilt shops in the area. Have a great time.

My late dear friend had a big log cabin there. She went to the quilt show took pictures to send me and bought me a coffee cup. She was not a quilter or sewer but knew I was. A real wonderful woman.

I would love to go to this show! I have an online friend who lives fairly near Pigeon Forge and another who lives outside Bowling Green KY. Hopefully some year I'll be able to make it, it just won't be this year. 2020 was too bad a year for us to take a trip like that.

I'm very surprised they are having it. Definitely not going even though it's not that far from me.

The quilt show in Pigeon Forge was awesome! The LeConte Center where the show was held is a beautiful building. There were plenty of vendors, not crowded at all and the quilts were beautiful. Edyta Sitar was there teaching (her family was running her booth) as well as Kimberly Einmo. We also ran into eight ladies from our area at the show. We spent most of the day Wednesday at the show. On Thursday we had a shop hop! We went to The Cherry Pit, Foothills of the Smokey's, Iva's, Mountain Stitches and one or two more shops. We went to the show again on Friday and a little more sight seeing. On our way home Saturday, we stopped at Tennessee Quilts in Jonesborough and Heavenly Stitches in Kingsport. I love that area of Tennessee. The people are so nice and the scenery is beautiful!

My daughter, sister and I were there. We go every year and spend the week. arrive on Monday and go home Sunday. This year we scheduled a couple of days without classes, and got a lot of sewing done in out hotel room. I took a dancing umbrellas classes from Edyta Sitar. She is a great instructor.
