Thanks for the info. That is almost what I want. The one I saw wasn't paper pieced. I can still use those instructions but it's driving me crazy that I can't find the original one. Just silly me. Thanks.

Here is a site with several pincushions. I like number 18 looks simple, it uses 2 buttons.

I did what abc123xyz said to and a gorgeous little pincushion showed up just as you said with 2 1/2 inch square in a t formation. I am thinking about doing up one.

Next time, book mark it on the computer and you should be able to retrieve it.

Can you go to the history section of your website visits for yesterday as it records all the sites that you visit.
Possibly that will get you back to the website that you saw the pincushion pattern.

I have one that is one square on the top, one on the bottom. Fold four more squares on the diagonal twice and line them up around the edges with the folded point toward the center. Stitch around, turn. stuff and sew the buttons on. Is this clear? Clear as mud?

There's a 2-part tutorial in the Quilting Board "Articles" section for a cube pincushion with a large button. It doesn't use charms, but can certainly adapted.
