I'm making an Attic's Window quilt for a friend's baby shower and along the border I was going to insert some pieced ladybug blocks in his baby's nursery colors; pink & brown. But, I'm not sure if it actually looks like a ladybug. In the picture that I saw on the internet it looked like a ladybug but that was with a red and black color scheme. I still haven't added some larger brown dots to the wings yet but I wanted an opinion before I went ahead and finished the blocks.

I immediately saw a lady bug. Add the spots and see how you like it, I think its adorable!

Two little dots for eyes, and some big spots, and instant lady bug!
Very clever.

I can see the shape! But I think you should finish one completely, before you make a bunch of them.

At first I thought of a lady bug. I think if you add the bigger spots it will be more noticable.
BTW it is cute in those colors.

I agree with the others, add the dots and for sure it will be immediately recognizable as a lady bug!
