QBot is a software program designed for the Husky and Pfaff embroidery capable sewing machines, I believe. I'm not familiar with it, but in looking at their website, it's only available from Husky and Pfaff dealers and no machine compatibility list was given.

If it's like the robotic systems available for longarm sewing machines, most are brand specific and can't be used by other brands. with the exception of the PC Quilter system and a couple of others that are just coming into the market. PC Quilter is one of the oldest systems available and quite a few of the manufacturers use this system as a base for their proprietary system. To get a decent whole quilt robotic system, you generally are going to spend between $5000 and $20000 depending on the brand of your machine and whether you already own a frame that can be equipped to operate with the system. Such a system would offer you much more than the Qbot system, which from it's appearance seems to be a very basic single block quilter program.

I recently bought a Qbot system and it works quite well. I don't know if it works with the Juki. Mine is an Imperial frame and a Pfaff machine. I had problems getting it set up and had to have the local store attach the drivers for me (the directions that came with the table were incorrect). I have been very pleased with the quilting and I don't have to stay right with it constantly, but you do have to be near by in case something doesn't work properly. I paid $6999 (+ tax) for the works. Betsy Newberry, Bland, VA

HI, I have Qbot on my Viking 18x8 Inspira setup (made by Tin Lizzie) and I love it. The Qbot is a robot that is not brand specific and attaches to your stitch regulated machine and does your quilting automatically for you by selecting designs and you tell the robot where the top right is of your block or boder and where the bottom left is, etc. You can buy additional designs online from Golden Threads and others and it goes on an SD card that plugs into the robot. There is also a 4DQbot Designer program that you can put on your computer to make designs or change designs, now updated by Viking and called 4DQuilt Design Creator. This gives you unlimited possibilities of designs to put on the SD card. You can attach the robot to many different machines, see myqbot.com, and recently a salesperson said it will also work on the Innova. I have a friend who has a Qbot robot for sale for $2700 (no software) which is less than half price when there is no tax but although I don't personally think it's difficult as they have great instructions, you need to be technically able to attach this to your quilting machine.
