Does anyone have an old placemat pattern where you cut 4 fabrics in the same way & then shuffle the pieces around to make 4 designs? Sunset magazine, 1970's?

No but I think it would be fairly simple . Take the four fabrics stack them on top of each other.. cut ... take your 4 piles leave the first one as is.. take the second pile take top fabric. move to bottom... third pile move top two fabrics to bottom... fourth pile move 3 fabrics to the bottom

    Does that make sense ?

Yes, but my pattern had some triangles & rectangles . I have to see if I have an old one around. Made them as gifts one year!

Make up your own pattern with the old one in mind, then it is truly Dotty's design.

Can we see pics when you finish them?

I just cannot believe how big that beautiful horse is and how brave you are to stand with your back turned to it

Standing beside the horse you know would not normally be a scary thing - standing near or behind a horse's back legs is the dangerous place to be - I don't own a horse but have known of children being kicked and hurt that way
