Default placemats

I want to make chevron placmats 14x20 about what size should i make my hst? thanks

whatever the size, the length and width would have to be divisible by the same number. 14x20 would only be 2" hst's
if you want them larger, say 3" hst's, your mat would have to be 15x18 perhaps. this is what the 2" would look like

Looks nice, really like colors they are my a old high school colors. You did a great job.

I prefer making chevrons without HSTs since they produce a lot of bulk. There was this free pattern on F&P website but the link doesn't work any more
