Has anyone seen any tutorials of photos of placemats to make on this site. I am sure there are pretty easy.

Go to the top of this page and click on "search" then type in "placemats". You will find lots of threads for placemats, tutorials, and links. Happy Hunting.

Hope you found what you were looking for. I made some earlier this year and am happy with them. They're made from a panel of wine bottles and glasses that I cut apart. The different colored borders are just scraps from my stash. The placement of the borders is all the same on all. However each mat is different. I would share pictures but can't seem to make it work.

agreed... I am learning to set myself free when making mug rugs. I hope to extend this concept into placemats. I like how you kept a way to keep a sense of coordination thru the borders.... :thumbup:
