Thanks for your suggestions. I hadn't thought about adding a butterly or bird.

It should stay on the side where it is. It's perfect there. I thought of adding a flower pot at the bottom, so it's not floating. Love how you did the leaves, with the centers cut out. They kinda look like green lips. Very kewl.

If it's not sewn down, I'd move it a little closer to center. Then, as others have suggested, perhaps a bee or butterfly

The flowers seem a little lost. How about stair-stepping another vase with two flowers and one more farther up with a single flower. JMHO

Looking at it - I wish the tumbler at the base of the flower stem was brown. That would really put it all together. Leave it right where it is and change that tumbler to a brown one (vase) or applique another on exactly the same size on top of it.

How large is this quilt? Is it for a bed? Will the applique be on the side and not on the top of the bed or is it a lap size quilt?

yes, move it over AND angle it down / just a bit...once you add a border you will really notice the difference!

You're design is charming. I do think I'd move it a little to the right. No centered, just over little bit. Then I think something smaller, butterflies, bird, smaller flower bunch. etc. coming from the top right corner. I love it with the applique done over the tumbler blocks. Good job!
