Default please help: ISO equalaterial triangle hexagon table topper

I am looking for this pattern I know I saw on here; I thought it was originally posted by Geta but can't locate it. This new site is just too confusing to navigate and my baby brain is making things hazy. If someone knows where to find it please help! I'm getting so discouraged and in a funk where now I almost don't even want to sew anything anymore. Thanks.

I didn't post the table topper you saw but I've used 60° triangles and made a tree skirt. Maybe I can help you?

It was strip pieced, 2 color equalateral triangles that were arranged and color-planned to create a star effect resulting in a hexagon table topper. It was one of those really difficult looking toppers that are really about color placement to trick the eye.

Hmmmm, that does sound really cool. I don't remember seeing it though. Maybe somebody else will remember seeing it.

that is pretty close; i figured out how to print out a piece of graph paper with equalateral triangles so using that one I'm trying to remember the color placement. I've come up with 2 useable options so maybe I can use one of them. Thank you for your help!!

This is a Christmas tree skirt, but could it be what you saw?

The center part of my pattern can be used for a table topper. The dimensions are in the pattern, or if you want it smaller you could use fewer logs.
