I like the gold the best, but I think you need to change the white background to gold (very light) or someth other soft, not so stark contrast. I can really "see" gold candles and nice china!

I am planning on putting sashing between the blocks and using christmas green for the backing and binding. I am just not happy with with it so far. I am wanting something that is elegant and pops. I haven't even decided on the color of the sashing yet.

What would happen if you tried black for the center? I'm not sure, but it might make it "pop".

Of the four shown, I like the second one (red center.) To me, it pops, blends, and looks elegant.

I think I like the red too, but a it all looks good to me. Makes me want to go buy some elegant Christmas fabrics now and make a Dresdan quilt. Love the look.

I like the gold best. It makes the red and green "petals" stand out.

Use black as your center, there is a nice selection of black for Christmas out in the lqs. You have black going through some of your Christmas prints, and a black center would pull it all together. Try to find a print with some gold or a little red going through the black.
Blessings,

My first choice would be # 3, if you want it to be more elegant. I would also not do the white background. I think maybe a soft color would make it more elegant. I do love your dresden plates. They are so pretty, I can't imagine your finished quilt not being beautiful, no matter what you choose. Please post a picture when you are finished.
