I started a quilt called friendsip braid. I cut the trapezoids...sewed the first one together and from that point I cannot understand what to do next..it seems so confusing to me as to how to continue with the braid. I would appreciate any help.I watched a missouri quilts tutioral but they didn't explain. Thanks Judy

Can you post a pic of the pieces and also post the size of them?

after you have sewn the first one finger press open be careful you don't stretch the fabric then add the next one along the edge that has no stitches press open and continue in the same way you will see that in fact you are putting the pieces first one side and then the other - hope this make sense - it should look a bit like a V -difficult to explain without showing you a picture - it does make up into a very nice quilt - did one for my niece

You probably will be building your braid either from the bottom up, or the top down. I am working on one, but with rectangles, not trapezoids, and mine is from the bottom up. Hope you figure out how to do it!
