I was impressed by a quilt a man did at a local quilt show in 2000. 1/2 inch squares....

I read the information sheet but its been 9 years. I think he is a dentist and it took him three years to do this. Im pretty sure he said his wife is a quilter but this was his first quilt.

The Last Supper is spectacular. and soooo big! Wow, that had to take a long time to not only draw up the pattern but to cut all those little squares. Thanks for sharing!

Quite a while ago, I saw one with pics of the 9-11 victims printed on diamond shaped fabric and I think it was in the shape of a lone star pattern. It was beautiful on it's own but when you zoomed in, and could see all their faces, it was quite eerie.

Sorry this is so many days late. I just left Lehi Utah this morning (Thursday) I purposely stopped at Broadbents where this quilt came from on BOM. The lady (very sweet) gave me the ladys email address that did the blocks.
