Found this cute potholder with a pocket tutorial, which I know isn't what you're looking for, but it's cute!

Then went looking for the purse, and found this? There were several other ones when I googled it.

Love the clutch pattern. My DD ask for a new make up case, and this will be perfect. Thank you.

Are you sure it was a potholder? I would think that wouldn't be big enough for a purse. Maybe a placemat purse instead?

Couple of sites I found placemat purse patterns just in case

no its definately a potholder. thank you anyway. you purchased a potholder w/a pocket. folded the top flap over. sewed on a button on the potholder and used the potholder flap over the button to closed the purse. then you sewed cording around it. but i dont know much more. i know i saw it on internet but cant for the life of me find it again.
