Lovely quilt. My mother used to put prairie points on all her baby quilts. They wash up very nice.

What a wonderful quilt. I have used prairie points on the sashing seam lines, not on the edges. They wash well, but do seem to have a private life of their own. They stand up or lean either way. This changes from washing to washing. The good news is that as the quilt ages, every thing becomes softer and more snuggly.

At perfect spring/summer look. Better inspiration than I've seen in some of the magazines! I can't answer the question you posed. This will be a good before and after learning for all of us. Please do post an after shot. I like the puffy look of the washed quilts, and look forward to seeing the personality of the points.

I really like that quilt. Hope the points look just as pretty after it is washed. You did a good job.
