Just wondering... the pre-cut squares that are sold on eBay, are they usually pre-washed? Or not?

I know that the pre-cuts that are made by the fabric manufacturers are not pre-washed. I was curious about the squares that are made & sold by individuals.

I have ordered them before and most of mine have been unwashed.

The ones I bought were unwashed. Most of them were cut well.

the profit margin is so small, i can't imagine that they would pre-wash and iron them. and, if die cut, they'd probably need to be sized or starched for good results. jmho

Do you think most sellers die-cut the squares, or just rotary-cut them carefully?

Some I got have been really nice...some have been so wonky they weren't usable (seller replaced later). Some have been nasty fabric that ruined it for me trying any more vendors.

If I want squares, I wait for a trade on here or cut my own.

Good luck to others :)

Not washed in my case. I wouldn't want them if they had been washed. I like sewing with the stiffer pieces.
