Pre quilted material help
I came up with a last minute holiday gift for my daughter and SIL, which will have to be mailed soon in order to have it get there in time.
He loves the Nightmare Before Christmas, and my daughter asked me to make three Christmas stockings with the characters on it.
They are black stockings, and I purchased the prequilted black fabric, and felt for the characters.
Has anyone used this before? Is it difficult or tricky to sew? I am worried with the various pieces of felt on top it will be "heavy".
Any advice?

I have occasionally used the prequilted fabric. The batting is poly which keeps it lighter and thinner than if you quilted your own with cotton batting. It's very easy to sew, you should have no issues. Hope you post a photo of your finished project!

I use pre-quilted fabric for garment bags. It wears well for the abuse that teen girls give them. It sew's easy. I attach the decorations (applique) before assembly. My daughter has one that was made in 1997 and it is still in good shape. Although she has her telescope stored in it for protection. She has a newer one with her formals in it.
