My mother always wore her pearls, every day. Apparently, keeping them against the skin kept up the lustre. Hmmm maybe I should go pop them on.........

We've come a long ways, ladies. June Cleaver needed to get a real life.

If I waited until I was all dressed up and mentally prepared, I'd never sew at all!

OMG that's funny! it's 4:00p and I haven't even brushed my hair yet! I woke up at 3:30 this morning thinking about the quilt I'm working on and couldn't go back to sleep! I have to say I wasn't crazy about the idea of the grandkids all geting hand held video games. Those things are a God send! I haven't had to leave the sewing room all day! Thank You Santa!
