My "redeye" is a model 66 and uses class 66 bobbins which you can get at Joann's. They work fine except won't fit on bobbin rod on machine. But mine wind on the 301.

That looks to be a vibrating shuttle, so your bobbins will be the long skinnies. Hope it has the shuttle in it, they are expensive to buy.

I have my Grandmother's machine that looks just like yours. When I try to look up it's serial number I can't find a match. The number is GO510339. Can anyone help me?

she's a beauty...all she needs is a little TLC and she will be good for another 50-60 years!! But beware...this is addicting...because she will need company

I downloaded my repro manuals free from sewclassic.com

It's a very pretty machine and your bentwood case looks good, too.

I got the serial number and looked it up but the earlier machines don't have manuals on line. They give you a number to call. I am not home but will post the serial number later. It starts with AC so I know she was born in Eliabeth, April 24, 1929

That dometop is beautiful, I have three of them, Does yours have the shuttle bobbin or the round bobbin? Mine has the shuttle bobbin,I never had instructions for mine , They only sew forward and you turn the material around to sew backwards, For many years that was the only machine I had, It sewed lots of polyester shirts for my former husband , he loved western shirts, he was 50 in the chest and 36 in the waist, not easy to buy shirts like that so I made them,I keep them oiled and sitting up on my pot shelves , One in the dining room, one in the living room, and one in my bedroom, I also have a treadle that we restored in the living room behind our couch, also a shuttle bobbin machine , I just acquired a clone of the 221 singer to take when I go camping and want to sew, I am blessed  :-P
