less expensive. Works very well. I tape it around the needle so it does not catch. Marilyn |
I have a Slider that I purchased two years ago at the AQS in Des Moines. Then I read a tip from somewhere about the oven mats you can buy at Bed, Bath and Beyond that are for keeping spills from soiling your oven when you bake. They are made of a similar material, are about 20" x 24", work great on the extension tables and wait.....wait...... cost around $4. Yay! I haven't tried it yet, but plan to!

I've never bothered to find out because they start at $120 over here.

Yes, it works well.

I have one and it really does help me. I do have to tape it down with blue painters tape so that it doesn't move on me.

Great input here. Think I need to make a trip to Bed, Bath & Beyond: for my FMQ and my oven!!! :-D

She said her quilts sometimes get caught on it & pulls the corner up. I have her Machinger gloves & swear by them but haven't bothered with the Slider. I think I'm waiting to see if somebody can convince me they're useful. |
