A sweet rememberance of your mom.

Never heard that before, but it is very clever. I just printed several copies, so that I could put a copy in each of my 'stash' boxes. Thanks.

["A stash is where a fabric without a project goes to wait."
I just read that quote to all of my stash, as some of it was getting impatience that it hadn't been used. Made the stash feel better. |
What a great memory. I agree, you should frame it and pass it down to family. It does not matter if it is original; it's so true and worthy of keeping. Thanks for sharing.

It would also be cute on a quilted piece of fabric and framed. You just gave me something to say to my husband when he says i won't throw fabrics away |
How awesome is that: May I reprint it to read:
"A stash is where a fabric without a project goes to wait." By Running1's Mother |
Hehehe!! That is so cute!!

God Bless your Mama.

I love that saying. I think it would make a lovely embroidered, framed print in any sewing room.
|
Great saying! Smart Mom!

What a great find. It is nice having something in your Mom's handwriting. Like the saying too.

I love it! I'd also say that a stash is a place to go to find forgotten treasures.....and a place to go shopping at 2 AM!

What a great saying. Thank you for sharing.

"A stash is where a fabric without a project goes to wait." It may not be new to many of you, but I'd never heard the phrase and thought you might like it. Happy Quilting!! |
Isn't it great to find such quirky funtastic things when you clean out stuff. It's perfect that your mother bothered to write it down. It must have meant something to her. I agree with the others, I would frame it for my sewing "stash" room.
