Do go to Jackman's Fabrics - 1234 N. Lindbergh, Creve Coeur, MO ph#314-994-1060 in case you get lost. They have ton's of fabrics, loads of examples hanging, classrooms, machines and lots more.
If you are going to be near St. Charles (great historic area) not far from city, "Patches Quilt Shop" is GREAT fun. FYI there is a new store in Quincy called A to Z Quilting on 9th and State over 1000 bolts. The owner is a former nurse GREAT person.

Clinton Il has a nice quilting shop. Also, The quilted garden in Edwardsville closed I understand. I would call first, seems a lot of stores have closed.
