I don't think it's too busy. I love it!

When I look at your layout, I get the feeling of a coral reef under sea. The colors and tonal qualities give the feeling of sun shining down thru the water into the bright colors of tropical reefs and fish.
It would be cool if you had some large tropical fish prints that you could fussy cut and add here and there over the quilt top. LOL, clearly I like your top and colors, it sent me to fantasyland. |

I love your fabrics! I'd tone it down a little with a solid border or two. Great job!

I haven't attached the blocks yet. What about a solid color between the blocks

I have these blocks for a quilt top, but I'm not feeling it at all. My daughter likes the colors but it's really busy. Any suggestions? I have 2pks of 5" blocks and fat quarter bundle of the same fabric left over.
But I'd rather hear from you all. Thanks http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...ml#post6727514 |
I love it. Reminds me of sun coming through a stained glass window.

That is a striking, fabulous arrangement. I wouldn't change a thing. I love your colour scheme, but then again, I'm partial to blues and greens.

I think the fabrics are gorgeous and I love the way the pop with the yellow/gold. Make your daughter a quilt.
