Been there, done that several times, lol. No wine for me, then it wouldn't get done.

These stories gave me a chuckle because last night as I was frog stitching several hexes, because I had cut probably 100 5 inch hexes, had sewn several together, and THEN decided I didn't like that particular color, and started in again. Now to figure out what to do with those lovely hexes that are perfectly fine, but just not for this project. (Smacking forehead, duh!) What is that old saying, if you don't try something, you won't make mistakes! Guess we are trying to do something!

oh dear...not laughing AT you, but WITH you I am sure....my recent motorcycle accident triggered the fibro brain fog this week...I can not hold a thought together long enough to walk 2 feet! Hope the rest of your sewing goes as planned!

Rule of thumb--ALWAYS keep chocolate near your machine. BTW, I think my machine has gone deaf. No matter what I say to it, or how loud, it just doesn't respond.

Put a new needle in, phone rang. Answered, had long conversation with niece. Came back to machine, pulled thread to back, lowered presser foot, and chain sewed 15 sets of 4 1/2" squares. Used the thread cutter and started to pull the squares back to cut apart. You all know where this is going don't you.. well, duh. I never re-threaded the needle. Said a few choice words, went and had some chocolate, then came back and threaded the needle and sewed 15 sets of 4 1/2" squares together again.:D
