Can't help with what you have done but maybe this is the link you are talking about that tells about the different sizes of the jelly roll race quilt.

Osewme, this is exactly what I needed. I printed it out and now I will know what I am doing. I did it right but the measurement is not what I wanted so I now have two quilts to finish. Next time I have the How to scale your jelly roll race quilt to be just the size you want. Thanks so much everyone for all your help. I don't feel so lost now.

Oh Dunster and Toverly, Thanks so much for your help. I can add strips if I like to top or bottom. Some one told me there was a site on computer that gives measurements for all the different sizes of the jelly roll race quilt. I will see if I can find that.

I went along just sewing together and when I sewed the last two together I had a tube so I took those apart. Am I crazy or what the @&%$*? am I doing wrong? Can anyone tell me so my head clears up? |

These jelly roll quilts started out using a standard jelly roll, which is a certain number of strips all the same length. It should work out to the specified quilt size then. Good luck

Sometimes if I am in a dilemma like this I just have to walk away and go do something different and when I come back the whole situation looks more clear to me. Good luck to you and it sounds like you are getting good advice from others here on the board
