I am lucky enough to have two of these machines one was given to me by a friend that is in a closed cabinet and the other is in a coffin case for which the top got destroyed in shipment.

Oh my goodness! I wish I could find one like that for $100! So happy for you and great about your pacemaker! Be well and enjoy that lovely machine!!!!

Did your new pacemaker register your increased heart rate upon seeing the red eye?

Anybody out there tell me what model this is JA077213 will try to include pic.

The JA series was made in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada in the 1924 time frame. Yours has the beautiful sphinx/Memphis/egyptian decals, and they look like they're in great shape.

Hey, I have one of those (actually 2) Redeyes in cabinets and they definitely are good medicine for your heart!!

That cabinet looks exactly like the one I have.
Been so long since I looked at the machine I forgot what it looks like!
I'll have to look now.

It was my Grandma's machine. My mom used to sew on it when she was a kid. She kept it all those years and then I got it when mom had to sell the house after dad had his stroke.

I never use the machine though. Its just a show piece.

I just went and checked mine and it is a red eye.
B266791. The painted design on the floor in the throat is worn but you can still see it pretty well too.

Isn't this just cool?

I wonder what the age difference is between your machine and mine?
If they would have been made in the same year?

Wow, that is a beautiful machine and cabinent.
Have fun sewing on it.
