Great job on your 1st postcard. I run the back of the card on photo print paper-you can get 4 on one sheet and use an iron-on mesh stabilizer to make the front of the design a little stiffer, mainly because I machine embroider or Free-motion embroidery on the front. I also put mine in clear envelopes to mail as when I started doing them the post office said no way could they mail it. It would be nice if others shared their cards.

It's adorable! I would love to receive that in the mail. I did postcards a few years ago using a good quality watercolor paper for the back. It worked great. I bought a book with patterns and it recommended the w/c paper. I mailed a few of them and they got to where they were going. One of the mailed ones went to a postcard art gallery exhibit. It had to be mailed and postmarked. Wouldn't that be a fun guild project? :)
