You may think I have lost it entirely, but, if you will turn your top wrong side up, cover those bulky spots with an old towel and whack it real hard with a mallet (I use my meat mallet) it will flatten them enough to ease out the bulk

I don't particularly like string quilts, but I love yours! Can you tell us how you set up the blocks? Size of strips and triangles? Thanks!

Wow. Love your work.

Both are great ideas!

just avoid quilting directly across the center. no sense in tempting the fate, so to speak. very pretty and great colors on both quilts!

Oh my gosh what beautiful quilts! You have been been busy! Do you work them steady or do you find that you need to put them aside now and then and work on something else?
|
Absolutely beautiful scrappy quilts. Years ago I had a quilt teacher tell me that I should try trimming the seams down to decrease the bulk, but it might be worth a try to press the seams open for less bulk. Keep up the good work.

Beautiful scrappies. For the pinwheels, try to swirl the seam like so.
