I've been working on these 2 quilts for the last few weeks. I'm finally finished. About to start another charity quilt and a Carpenter's Star quilt for a friends birthday. Enjoy.

Very nice!!! I especially like your antique car fabric as DH and I were talking about me making his dad a quilt and he collects antique cars. Another project processing!!!

I have done 3 for them, and I too love the fabric they send. Doing one of my own to send back with each has helped inspire me to do some quilt designs for family.

I LOVE the car one. Where did you find the fabric. MY son is a mechanic and also restores antique cars. I bet he would like something like that.

I just got my first kit from QFK today...very cute fabric and very easy pattern.....I guess we are supposed to pay for shipping it back to them? and I guess its to use the small flat rate box at the P.O.? and that it holds 2 quilts..did I get that all right? For some reason, I was thinking we didnt pay the shipping. Its ok, I dont mind..but wanted to be sure I know what to do here!

Aren't kid's quilts fun to make? Am finishing up another one for a great grandson. It's for his big boy bed. Just sent one last week to another g-grandson. I was wondering how one goes about getting involved in "Quilting 4 Kids"? Sounds like something I would really enjoy doing. After all, isn't quilting all day supposed to be productive for some one?
