I am a huge fan of Charlotte Hawkes' mysteries. Her mysteries are for scrap quilts (my personal favorite), and the finished quilts look so elaborate, but her directions are are really easy to follow. And, her MQs are free. She has the fabric requirements and cutting instructions up for her new mystery, Summer Stars on Fawn Lake, up already, and will be posting the first clue in about 10 days.
Here is a photo of one of her MQ's that I did a couple of years ago, called Scrap in a Box. (note: I did do my border differently than her original pattern.): |
Our local shop is celebrating 60 years in business, so they're doing a "60 Years Block of the Week." Here's a link: http://stylishfabricsandquilts.com/ There's a tab at the top of the page.

There is one starting the 15th I think on the "Just Us Quilters" Facebook site.

Watson, Here is a link to Seams to be Sew where she put together quite a few links to different free quilt along's, blocks of the month/week and mystery quilts. She's added quite a few over the last week, maybe one (or more) will work for you. :)
