That was the sweetest story. A man with a mind of his own. My DD had a pink, blue and white afagan that she lost when she was five. She carried that thing everywhere. Wash day was hard as I had to hide it til it got dry.
My DS had a teddy named George. As he grew George would retire to the cedar chest. A few days later George would sneak out. This went on for quite awhile. Now George sits on a shelf in Olivia's room. So far Olivia hasn't gotten attached to just one thing except Mommy. |
Awww, how cute! I wonder how many he will want you to make later on?

My grandson had a blue blankie with a bear head. He like it so much that my daughter got a second one, then she could switch them & get it washed. :XD:
He would always hold the tag so that he could rub his thumb back and forth over it. Now he is nearly 10, where did those years go. :?: |

Toby is now 62 years old, has new yarn hair and a painted face and arms- the plastic turned yellow and Grandma gave him a make over when I took him to college. His "sister" for my cousin is in the lost doll world. Toby has a place on the shelf in my sewing room along with the dotee dolls and my girls other special friends. :) :) |
That is such a sweet story.... and he will cherish the new "blankie" forever!
