How about a binding that includes the left over colored material? Link it all together for the binding strips. It will be jolly! Very nice work. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It's lovely. I'd add two borders to it; the first would be a narrow one using either blue or green batiks. The second would a wider border using some of the reds. It would make it larger and it would make all the colors pop more, IMHO.

I wish I could create something like when insomnia kicks in. Its beautiful.

It is beautiful. The fabrics really show with the black background. I would just use a colored binding. Maybe a scrappy one using all the fabrics.

I like it as is.

Very nice, I make quilts too, but can't make one in 3 hours. very goodcolor combination.

I agree with Debbie C, I would do about a 1" pencil border then a 3-4" outside black border and finish with either a batik or black binding whichever looks best.

Your quilt is wonderful! I like the idea of a colorful binding as others have suggested.

Whoever received the quilt is indeed lucky! Did you by chance take a pic once it was done? We would love to see it! And thank you for sharing the pattern!

Bind it and call it a day. Using strips from your colour fabric pieced together would make great binding.
