30s repro fabric...kinda... pattern help

I found a tote in my sewing room full of kinda 30s repro fabric. Looking for suggestions for a block pattern. What did you do, or WOULD you do.

Don't want to do DWR or Dresdens. Already did those patterns. Love them but want something different. Think I have enough fabric for a queen size quilt.

How about sampler blocks? That was one of my first bed size quilts and the blocks were all 12" finished using a white on white for the background. quilterscache.com has tons of blocks grouped by size.

i thought it would be easy to find one with this google search https://www.google.com/search?q=30s+...ed=0CAcQ_AUoAg
but there are so many traditional and more modern ones with 30's fabric that it would be hard to choose.

I typed (modern quilts 30s repro fabric) into Google and then looked through the images. There were some really nice quilts for inspiration. I especially liked the Orange Peel block. The 30s fabric really looks nice against all the white (I think gray would also look really nice).

Ooh! This one is nice, it shows the pattern in 30s prints and has a link to the pattern by Elizabeth Hartmann.

There is also a free version of the quilt in a smaller size on the designer's blog.

So many scrappy quilt look great with reproductions. I made a GFG with using most of what I have in my stash.

I've googled myself to death. Google is sensory overload. What have you guys done?

Art Deco! The period overlapped with the 30s, so it's time appropriate.

There are a few books on quilting Art Deco designs, but here's one I like by Don Linn: http://voguepatterns.mccall.com/s113...p?page_id=5462. For some reason it's much more expensive on Amazon, but there's also a kindle version.

I have always liked #24, Cottage Charm.
