What a cool idea I may need to use that next year.

wow 32 yards of fabric. What a windfall. I think it is fun to work with fabric someone else picked out. I once received a bag of fabric from an elderly friend who was moving and had to downsize. It was so neat to organize that bag of fabric and think of her every time I use a piece of it. In fact when I do use a some, I send her a photo of what I did with it. It thrills her to no end to see that fabric in a project. Takes so little to make another person happy. I know it hurt her to part with her beloved stash and she is so happy to see it used. Even made some place mats and table topper from some and sent that to her for her BD. Again she was thrilled.

Two have been waiting for 6 months already. :) )

What a nice way to get something new and different for my stash...

That is a GREAT Gift Idea!!! I think I'll try that next time!!!

That's a great idea. I hope I can use up enough of my stash in 2011 to use that idea and not feel guilty for asking.

What a great thing to ask for. Enjoy your new haul.

Another possibility would be to make quilts out of those fabrics and give them back in 2012 as Christmas presents to those that gave you the fabrics.
