SuzzyQ, your blocks are great, be sure to show us completed projects. I haven't been to CAM in years but it sounds like it can still be a lot of fun even with the boring "Annual Meeting" stuff :-)

I love the colours. Would a sashing of a different colour help?

Going back to the earlier comments and now that I see it worked up, I think that blue/green plain works It works well with the white and the green/white print, but IMHO not with the black print or the lime. I really like the black and the lime together ... a perfect fit.

Not knowing how much of each fabric you have ... perhaps you could solve that by doing smaller finished items?? It has been my experience at auctions, that all too often a larger item people do not pay the "value", yet smaller items often go over valued, as people are willing to pay for the novelty of it, and to support the cause.

And ................ the Ontario 4-H crowd can really get into overdrive on that, especially if someone decides to goad a colleague on!! :)

Smaller is Better!

 from someone who bleeds green too! The lap quilt idea sounds good; make one it so can be tucked into a pillow--a quillow I believe. Perfect for car or dorm room.
And yes small is very good!!
Thanks for donating to your 4-H program.
