Like everyone else, I'm so tired of winter. Today gave me hope for springtime. Has your weather improved?
We are having some sunshine, and springing forward with daylight saving time has really helped. We've had enough rain and snow!
Rain, clouds, rain - great quilting weather!

It has been unseasonably warm here for weeks. Which puts everyone in the planting mood. And then there is always that one last freeze which kills everything and have to start over. We are trying to wait.
was beautiful yesterday...
today barely hit 50 and grey...threatening rain all day...yuck |
I am so jealous. We hear that we may have 3 days this week that may hit 60. We would be so grateful. That would really get rid of some of these huge snow piles. Whoopee!
I'm soooo green with envy  It was 36 in my neighborhood today...and windy :hunf:
Our weather keeps bouncing back and forth between warm and cold. It's making ppl sick.
Jealous! The high temp here was 43 and a snow squall came through! March is probably the worse month in New England, cold, dreary, dirty old snow. Our good weather will come in May. And I can't wait!
78 here today - 18 holes of golf - Cumquat trees full of fruit - Azaleas in bloom by the thousands - maybe prettier than the Masters!!
It was beautiful today. Sunshine and nice temps.
LOL I had 64 degrees yesterday and got woke up to my daughters school superintendent calling to say school was called off because of inclement weather and hazardous roads! Looked outside and we had snow on the ground! It snowed all day now its raining! Oh well I got two quilt tops done today since I didn't have to drag everyone out of the house twice and my daughter was able to keep her brothers occupied!
Lucky you!
My covered back patio thremometer said 90 today. It was a nice day in the desert. 90 is nice when there is no humidity.

ENVY

We have been having nice day, then nasty day, hoping it will get better soon. I to am tired of winter.
Yes, we have been in the 70's here for the past couple of days. I opened up the blinds and windows in my sewing room, and with a light breeze blowing it felt like I was sewing on my front porch.....was WONDERFUL!!!!

beautiful here today. the kids and I picked the last of my cabbage that survived the winter and planted a few bulbs. I have lettuce, turnips, and collards that are coming up. Now if it just doesn't get too hot too soon!
Ha, read that stuff on FL and still don't miss it.... got so tired of cooking turkey in air conditioning and sweating like a hog in March pulling weeds..(I grew up in WPB back in the 40's)
Here in North Alabama the weather has been much better this week... in the low 70's today, a cool snap coming through and the weekend it will be in the 70's... daffodils, tulips, cherry trees, pear trees, forsythia's all blooming... sparrow's, blue birds nesting.. spring is on the way. |
It's getting cooler here.Yeh!
Not sure what the high was today, but tomorrow we will make it only to 35F with snow in the forecast.
The Bradford pears, the tulip magnolia, star magnolia, weeping cherry, daffodils and a couple of things I don't know are blooming.....I think, am hoping, it maybe, could be spring in Knoxville.
A tiny bit, yesterday when walked still needed gloves, but today may near 50 yeah!
I'm in Atlanta as well and we woke up this morning to 45 degrees and pretty heavy rain.....welcome to spring!
Just plain NO.
We had 15cms of snow and 75 km/hr winds. :x
Everywhere I went, people were discussing the weather and the conversations always ended with someone saying, "It could be worse ~ at least we don't live in Japan." The disaster there certainly puts a few snowflakes in perspective! |
Glad you are having great weather. :D
Here in Missouri we had 33 degrees and 4 inches of snow. |
Finally getting up in the eighties here in Orlando. Am trying to plant my vegetable garden but the temp keeps going down into the forties at night. Real strange weather for us in March. i can see my poor little tomato plants shivering.

Rain and more rain I want sunshine (so tired of winter) trees are starting to bloom and grass is starting to green up so just maybe winter is gone.
The days have been beautiful and in the mid 70's lately. It's been nice having the windows open. The mornings and evenings have been in the 50'-60's.
Ours has improved a bit. Supposed to get to 66 one day this week. Rainy and 50 today.
I am totally jealous it snowed yesterday here.
We are expecting one winter storm after another this week. It is pouring down rain right now that is suppose to turn to snow late this afternoon. It would be perfect quilting weather if I didn't have to work.
It was in the 40 degrees range driving into work this morning. At one area it was 41. Yesterday was cold until later in afternoon, which turned out delightful. We were having warmer weather until this front hit yesterday morning.
I live in sunny Florida. Need I say more? Hope you have warmer days in the very near future.
