I am like you, I need the instrucions. Pay the $4 and stop the giggles.......

Thanks for saving me the time to look for this great pattern. I'm downloading and doing this one. Hope you do also. Looks easy, quick and fun to do. Will look great too. Why worry with drafting it yourself when you have it at hand for $4.00.

Ok Ok Ok...I'm going to download it!

This my suggestion as well. I have done this several times, takes a while but it can be done.

That looks easy to sit down and make a pattern from that picture... Get graph paper and play...

Well, said. The $4 is worth it. It's a beauty...have fun making it!

I recreated the block this morning. Geometry was one of my favorite subjects in HS, but was not very useful until I started quilting.

The photo does not do justice to the colors. If my DD likes the pattern, I would like to do it in blues for my DGS. I'm thinking a variety of novelty prints for patterned QAYG backing would be nice.

cjmomma - and you typed up instructions for me???

I love your colors - I think a blue would work nicely too...the material I have to use is tutti fruitti...I got it at walmart last week for 1.50 a yard - I just picked up a yard of every print they have and think this would be the perfect square for it.
