It was a 'one entry chosen out of all submitted'-type contest, with the title "Did you ever teach anyone to hand quilt". I taught my 10-year-old DD. :)

Funny thing is, when I told hubby he said "Too bad you didn't get the money instead", although he really was happy for me, and I smiled and thought to myself that I would never EVER spend $575 on myself, so this is a huge blessing for ME that I can't refuse. :)

Can you believe I have actually wanted one of these for a long time? It's a frame that has a little piece of wood that you sit on so there's no holding up or balancing the quilt on your lap as you hand quilt. Fellow member Harry Barnett makes them. http://www.laptophoops.com/Frames---Hoops.html :) It will be absolutely PERFECT for the queen-size quilt I'm working on.
