I see that you posted this a year ago but thank you for the information. I just converted a bedroom to a sewing room and I love it. However, I notice that when I sew now my head gets soooo stuffy, etc. I am going to purchase an air purifier to see if that helps. Many thanks.

THANKS, I never thought about the dust from sewing. I was going to get rid of our air purifiers as we have quit smoking. Guess I will keep it and relocate it to my sewing area.

Another reason to wash our fabrics first, to get all of the chemicals out of them.

I always do! I couldn't believe the particulates that accrued. Don't even look if you use flannel! :D

I also wash all my fabrics....but nothing I can do about the batting. Trying to buy the best unit to put near my longarm sewing machine and sewing room.

great tip--I've noticed this winter that I'm stopped up after doing much sewing. Will look into this.

I have one in my sewing room left over from the grands infant years.

DD has one in our grand's room. She says the toddler sleeps better since she put it in. Now they are looking into a whole house one.
