Lord willing (& our daughtet is out of the hospital) hubby and I are going to take a 25th wedding anniversary trip to Alaska this year.
I'd like to know what quilt shops are there at the ports(Juneau., Ketchikan,Skagway & one more i can't rememebr) and which ones we just 'have to ' go to.
If anyone know please let me know.

have fun in Alaska, I would suggest googling for shops in Alaska and sending them email to be sure they are still open or call them

There is a nice one in Sitka.

Rushin' Tailor's Quilt Alaska in Skagway. Address is 370 Third Ave. It's easily accessible from the cruise ship port. The fourth port is Prince Rupert, B.C. on the way back to Seattle. I assume you are taking a cruise ship.

I know at least one of the members on here is from Alaska. When she sees your post you are sure to get the info you need.

There is a " Ben Franklin" in tourist city of Juneau, AK.... with on walking distance of the cruise ship port...

Alaskasunshine is one of the members who lives there. I know of one more but my mind has gone blank. Have fun on your trip.
